Hi guys first post on your website and might I say its quiet a website too.
Well the reason I came around was because recently ive been pulling my hair trying to fix my optical mouse from suddenly spinning out of control while playing UT. I first noticed it happen on my brothers computer with his optical mouse. Then a couple months later its now begun to happen with my optical mouse. It tends to happen when I try to make a fast 180 turn, my view will just suddenly look up fully and start spinning clockwise or something. I have to pull it back down for it to go back to normal.
I've tried 3 different optical mouses and it happens with all 3 of them. I've also tweaked the Mouse sensitivity from 1.50-3.00 and its always the same deal. Also checked and unchecked mouse smoothing.
Have any of you guys had a similar problem and were you able to fix it?
Perhaps some of my configuration files have been corrupted?
I have had that happen too, along with several members of my clan. It has been a long time now, but if I remember right we just replaced our ini files with a fresh one, you have backups of both in your system folder you just need to copy them and rename them. Default.ini is a clean copy of your UnrealTournament.ini and DefUser.ini is a clean copy of your User.ini file. Just remember to copy and rename and then replace the originals, or you will lose this backup fresh copy.
