Anthchecker Language Fix's, Anthchecker problems with localized versions of UT !!!!
After the recent anti-cheat software update, the minority of people using localized (non-English) versions of UnrealTournament may potentially be unable to connect to some servers due to differences in Female2Voice.uax file sizes.
In addition this file was recently used to latch unauthorised code for the purposes of timing crucial events within matches, thus necessitating this additional server side protection. You can download the Anthchecker Country Female2Voicefix
HERE [1]
Please follow these simple steps:
1. Backup your own Female2Voice.uax and Female2Voice_[insert country abbreviation (example: esp)].uax in a different folder in case you need them.
2. Copy the downloaded Female2Voice.uax into your UnrealTournament/Sounds directory.
3. Make another copy of the Female2Voice.uax you downloaded here and rename it to Female2Voice.eng_uax, for England, or Female2Voice_[can].uax for Canada etc.
Then copy this into your UnrealTournament/Sounds directory as well.
Now you should be good to go on servers with AnthChecker running.
We have made a French premade fix available HERE [2] as well for Canada.
For French Fix:
1. Delete your Female2Voice.uax and Female2Voice.frt_uax file from the Unreal Tournament Sounds folder.
2. Copy the downloaded Female2Voice.uax and the Female2Voice_[can].uax included here into your UnrealTournament/Sounds directory.
Now it should work.
